So far from what I have read I feel confident in this course of building my own home, everything is clear and detail on each process

This course covered most of the questions I had and so many questions that I didn’t know I needed the answer to.

Concise and precise text. This is what I am looking for.

The chapter filled in a significant void in understanding the best practice to convey desired specifications. The more vague and open these details are left out the greater incentive there is for the subcontractor to bid without being specific to methods and or materials used in performing respective trades. My recent communication with both builder and subcontractors they did not share this process was customary. I now have clearer way forward.

I cannot explain many houses you'd have to build to gain some of the insight this course provides. There were so many valuable lessons that simplify your work site by telling you where you should be looking and what you should expect to see. Thank you, this was excellent.

I'm quite pleased with this course. The content was quite extensive with a mix of text, videos, and forms given. The use of a sample build was helpful and aided in my understanding throughout. I reached out to Michael early on and he responded right away to assist me in attaining a proper, rough building estimate for my area.

Just finished the course. I found it very informative and a necessity if you going to become a builder on your own as I am. This is the only support I have to reach my goals.

Contains a lot of useful information for every step of the process. Great for Owner builders. Better than i had expected. Includes a checklist at several major steps which is handy. Well worth the money. Only reservation is: I am an owner builder who want to tackles some of the work myself, so while this is very detailed on the process and steps, will not show how to do Electrical or Plumbing yourself. Might be helpful to also show what examples of typical failures, to help ensure you or your trade doesn't make the same mistake. Another difficult items is costing. Examples given is very compared to California. Examples. Geologist for soils testing or compaction. In California this can run you $4,000 or more, opposed to a few hundred in other areas. Michael is also very helpful in answering questions.

So detailed, easy to read/watch. I'm ready to go!
